Cantonians nobody can stop natural disasters but human miseries, hardships can be reduced substantially with co-opration and co-ordination at desired level. Recent mahad flood is one such instance of natures fury.Rotary Clubs of pune along with national NDRF team is working round the clock to make sure every human life is saved, relief material are being collected at designated locations. Requirements are monitored time and again and relief distributed. We at rotary Club of cantonment had responded favourably and in unison with district disaster management team, till toda y has donated woolen blankets, chaddars ,bedsheets satranjis, chatais once on 24th July, On second occasion today 36 sets of towel, chaddars, bedsheets 36 sets of the Tshirts 34sets of ladiesware 35sets of pants 100no of shirts 1200litres of drinking water Was donated for flood relief to our district team. Suvidha agencies our vendor of children's bliss project has done his part by donating shirts and pants. No donation is small yet requirements are big. So friends let us contribute more for this benevolent cause. An appeal was made in this group earlier by secretary Rtn mahindra I reiterate the same today. Last but not the least I whole heartedly thank PP Pankaj for having arranged all these material in double quick time and helping deliver the relief materials to the needy. Thanks
